Dusty Rhodes and the River Band

À propos de Dusty Rhodes and the River Band

In 2002, Dustin Apodaca and Kyle Divine combined their respective loves for the Band and Emerson, Lake & Palmer and formed Dusty Rhodes, intent on echoing the sounds of their influences. The result is a now-six-piece collective that plays a shambling, prog-touched roots rock simultaneously reminiscent of the Band and the left-field exuberance of Polyphonic Spree. After installing themselves as the resident darlings of a West Hollywood DIY scene, the band signed to Side One Dummy Records in 2006 and released First You Live the following year.
