The amazing thing about Joe Walsh's records is that there is really no discernible difference between the good songs and the bad songs. "Rocky Mountain Way" was a major hit with a monumental guitar riff and its wicked wah-wah action. But if you listen close, and if you listen often, you can come away feeling like you just ate at Burger King. The best part is that Walsh knows this better than anyone. Smoker was his first solo album after leaving James Gang.
