Holy "Not a Girl, Not Yet a Woman," Hannah Montana! Can't Be Tamed is Miley's too-aptly titled attempt at child star rebellion, but like everything this studied professional does, even young adult angst sounds polished in her hands (and a little too calculated in spots like Ke$ha rip-off "Permanent December."). Nothing is as risque as the title track, but the whole affair is one of sleek, sensual dance-pop, from the ABBA-fied "Two More Lonely People" to the cover of "Every Rose Has Its Thorn" (really). The only vestige of country-pop wholesomeness is Cyrus's slight twang. Mission accomplished.
