Terry Reid got lost in the cracks in the early '70s, but as this live set clearly demonstrates, the dude roared like a heavy-metal god with the power-pop instincts of Paul McCartney. That's quite a mix, one that would deeply influence Cheap Trick, in fact. But there's more: Reid also dug into gritty country-soul on "Things to Try," "Rich Kid Blues" and the super-nasty "No Good Situation." And that just might've been the kid's problem: there's no easy category for the great Terry Reid.
